Hidden Valley Night Tour Description:
The Hidden Valley Trail is a11 acres Monteverde Costa Rica private property dedicated to the conservation of the Monteverde's flora and fauna. It has a coverage between primary and secondary forest landscapes that include waterfalls, gallery forest, overlooks the wooded canyon Rio Maquina and the Pacific Ocean, the Gulf and the Peninsula of Nicoya.
It is a transition zone between drier forests in the Pacific and the cloud forests of higher altitudes. Therefore, we have species of flora and fauna which are very difficult to observe or absent in reserves greater visitation of the area, making it the ideal complement to your visit.
Our tour begins at 5:30 pm and ends at 7:30 pm. This is the time of transition from day to night. It is a guided hike by a expert naturalist who has also a 6V halogen light lets you see the animal clearly, but keeping the impact to a minimum.
